First of all - a HUGE congrats goes out to my cousin Cody and his wife Deena who welcomed their newest addition into the family last night! Little Eliana Reece graced everyone with her appearance last night just after 7 pm. We haven't met her yet, but we have seen video - she is beautiful. I also heard from her Aunt (my cousin Casey), and her Grandma (My Auntie Bev) that she is truly perfect! She has a full head of dark hair that I am sure her dad is super jealous of! :) Congrats again Cody, Deena and Big Brother Austin!!
Next piece of excitement.......
We have been waiting to hear about Olivia and her funding from the government for School that starts in just under 3 weeks! The call came in today - she has been approved for PUF (Program Unit funding) for a Severe Communication Delay. I know that sounds scary - the whole "Severe" thing, but truly it will benefit Olivia in the long (and short) run. This means she will be starting school after Labour day! GASP!!! The classes are very small with a great child to staff ratio, there are therapists that work with the kids all the time, and the program it's self is very Speech intensive. So hopefully we will see Olivia's words increase dramatically. I am a little sad to think that my baby is going to school! She is still so little (some of her clothes are still 12-18 months, and she will be three in just over a month!), she gets mistaken at the park all the time for a kid who's just over 1. But we hope that this school year will bring lots of positive changes for our little Lou Lou!
