What a weekend!

Phewf! That was one busy weekend – but it seems like now a days all our weekends are! We started early Saturday morning with a trip to the rink – Grace is loving being a “Timbit” (Tyke Hockey), and doesn’t even complain about being on the ice at 7:00AM on the weekend! She looks super cute out there and is one of three girls on the team! Right now they are just doing hour practices. Starting in November they will be playing ½ ice games and then in December full ice. Like I said – she loves it, and this is truly her sport.

After hockey Mike had to go into the city to work with his friend who is a physiotherapist.Mike assists in teaching children with motor delays a variety of sports skills. Becky and Nana Bev were off to a jewelry party and Gpa Norm looked after the girls!

Sunday brought Olivia’s much anticipated 2nd birthday party! With 2 other cousin birthdays in September it’s hard to find a weekend to celebrate. So we waited until things calmed down (a bit) and everyone was ready to party again. Everyone had a great time and both girls were in bed and asleep by 7:00pm – Becky and Mike were not far behind!

This week brings another whirlwind; Grace has hockey twice, baton lessons, and school. Mike is busy with work, work events, Calgary Flames volunteering in the press box, and more sport skills Saturdays. Becky is busy getting the girls Halloween costumes put together, making cupcakes for Grace’s class, and celebrating her 32nd birthday! Thank goodness Olivia is a good spectator, and just likes to go with the flow.

Some pics are included of Olivia's party on Sunday - enjoy!
